Projektziel:

The VisionWorks Award of 2008 “CargoPacks 2020” wants to bring up visionary design concepts for logistic issues based on containers, boxes, packages, luggage or anything similar. The Award gives 60 students the opportunity to deal with the concept of “Future Logistics” in a detailed and visionary manner. In collaboration with students from international universities specializing in design, the award aims at the development of solutions which will touch many different aspects in the field of logistics, such as packaging, transportation, services and sustainibility.

The VisionWorks Award “CargoPacks 2020” asks students to look into the future of CargoPacks through three specific questions, which are:

1. How will the last mile be delivered?
2. How to realize ecological sustainable logistics?
3. What services can be provided by intelligent packaging?

Projektergebnis:

• 160 Konzepte zu den oben angeführten Kategorien
• 50 Prototypen für zukünftige Logistiklösungen
